The active antenna system performs better than the conventional, simple active antennas. It is the ideal solution of your reception problems. From the Delta 100 6 different devices can be operated simultaneously and independently via the antenna distributor AV107 without any further equipment-specific antennas or antenna matching devices being required. A maximum of 6 devices can be connected to the antenna distributor AV107. If supply is to be be provided for more than 6 devices, it will be possible for several AV107 to be interconnected.
This antenna permits the simultaneous
operation of the following devices via antenna distributor AV107.
- Marine radio receiver
- Entertainment radio
- Decca-navigator
- Navtex decoder
- Europager
- Loran C navigator
This versatility is achieved by
the extremely wide receiving frequency range of the active combination
antenna. The frequency range covers all frequencies of:
- very long wave from 40 kHz on
- long wave
- medium wave
- marine band
- short wave
- ultra-short wave up to 200 MHz
The amplifier circuit has been laid out in such a way that even powerful transmitters in the vicinity will not interfere with the function of the antenna. The amplifier input is protected against static charges by an arrester. The connection with the antenna distributor is established via 50 ohm coaxial cable. The length of the antenna lead in for on-board usage is uncritical. Power supply occurs via the antenna distributor from the 12 V or 24 V ship's supply system.
