  • Stand alone Intelligent Track Steering System (ITSS)  for adding to existing steering and/or autopilot systems, or to control rudder(s) directly
  • Compact design allows easy retrofit without need for removing existing hardware (add on)
  • Backlit LCD display provides operator with all necessary information for safe vessel prediction, including status of all input sensors.
  • Information is gathered from existing sensors (wind, speed, position, rpm, etc) to predict the ship’s future position, speed, etc. and make corrections in real time to counter any off course errors before they occur.
  • Maintains precise track (less than 10% of ship’s breadth) with less frequent and smaller rudder movements than conventional autopilots.
  • Reduced rudder movements and more precise track translate directly to fuel and time savings for vessel. (tests results show potential fuel/time savings of 5 to 10%)
  • User programmable cross track limit to alert operator if vessel fails to maintain desired accuracy with automatic reversion to Emergency Steering mode.
  • Turns are completed more accurately and without losing speed (as opposed to conventional autopilots/track control systems)
  • Automatically alerts operator of any input sensor failures.
  • Alerts operator of any critical input sensor failures (i.e. GPS) and automatically reverts to NFU emergency steering
  • User selectable “Emergency Steering” overrides all electronics and provides operator with direct control of the rudder(s).
  • Compatible with vessels with single or dual rudders.
  • User programmable rudder limit control.
  • Operator can view status of all input sensors at any time while ITSS6000 unit is in standby mode.  This will aid troubleshooting faulty sensors.
  • Software based system allows for easy future upgrades.
  • Optional built in switching for automatically switching of output lines with existing steering system
