HEAVY DUTY CONSTRUCTION: Atkinson units are specifically designed for dependable use in the demanding environmental surroundings encountered in industrial applications.  For example, each stations amplifier, controls and speaker/microphone are completely sealed in the submergence-proof case.  Oil resistant neoprene cables are strain relieved at entry points.

SELF CONTAINED STAIONS: Each intercom in a complete self-contained station which receives, amplifies and transmits the signals.  Not only does this add to the clarity of communications, it also permits the intercom system to include almost any desired number of stations and to extend over very long distances.

WIDE RANGE OF OPERATING TEMPERATURES: Extreme temperatures, either hot or cold, frequently will have a negative effect on the quality and dependability of communications with conventional intercom equipment.  Atkinson units are designed to permit the widest possible latitude.  Standard models are efficient when operating in temperatures ranging from 0degrees (F) to +150degrees (F).  Extreme temperature models may be specified for installations in the -50degrees (F) to +150degrees (F) range.
